Katsuwo started publishing the manga through the magazine Comic Dengeki Daioh G. from the publisher Kadokawa The publisher released the sixth compilation volume in February 2020, followed by the seventh on January 27 in Japan.

Synopsis of Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu
Many of us know what it is like to move to a new school in a new environment with few or no friends and go through the arduous process of getting to know people again. Bocchi Hitori knows this fight very well, having just graduated from elementary school and entering high school. Unfortunately, she suffers from extreme social anxiety - fainting when overwhelmed, vomiting when nervous, and ridiculously complicated plans to avoid social contact.
It doesn't help that her only friend from elementary school, Kai Yawara, doesn't go to the same school as Bocchi. To help her, Kai breaks ties with Bocchi and vows to make up with her if she befriends all of her classmates in her new life.
