Hoshiai no Sora Synopsis

The men’s soft tennis club is constantly inferior to the women’s club and has to break up due to poor skills and a lack of positive results in the games. Toma Shinjou is in desperate need of members and is looking for capable players but cannot find anyone. Enter Maki Katsuragi, a new transfer student who shows great reflexes when he catches a stray cat in his classroom and instantly attracts Toma’s attention. With aroused interest, Toma ambitiously asks Maki to join the boys’ team, but is quickly rejected because Maki does not want to join a club. Toma refuses to resign and convinces Maki, only on the condition that Toma pays him for his participation and pays other club costs.

When Maki joins the team, thanks to her incredible form and quick learning, she can instantly outperform the rest of the team. Although this creates conflict between the boys, Maki challenges his teammates and urges them not only to keep up with their seemingly natural talents, but also to get them to pursue the game they once neglected.
