The author of the light novels is via his official Twitter account Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi ((Repeat the healer), Rui Tsukiyo, shared some updates with his comments on the animated production.
«The production did some amazing animation, but I only have two things to comment on. In the original Licht novel, there weren’t enough erotic scenes to cover twelve episodes of sex, and as a result of the extra content that wasn’t in the original novel, there were lots of threesomes and the erotica got drab.. When a second season hits, I’d really like to write situations that all characters fully shine through and that express that eroticism in the animated adaptation“wrote.

Synopsis of Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi
“Healing wizards cannot fight alone.” Keare, who was always tormented by this logic, was repeatedly taken advantage of by others. But one day he realized what was beyond healing magic and he was convinced that healing wizards are the strongest class of all. When he discovered this potential, however, it was too late.
