By its official means, ANIMA project, an animation initiative launched in 2017 by Welcome, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, Sotsu and MBS To produce an original anime that would reflect the spirit of the next decade, they eventually revealed the details of the animated adaptation of the novels by Nekotarou Inui, Sakugan Labyrithn marker, which is titled Sacks & Guns !!.
The series was announced as one of the pilot projects of the ANIMA project in 2019 and is produced by animation studios Satelight in the Science Fiction / Anime Robot category of the Production Initiative after being selected from hundreds of proposals submitted.
The premiere of this adaptation was planned for this year, but it was announced in mid-March that it had been postponed to 2021. This new statement confirmed that the series will premiere in the fall 2021 season. A special will take place on January 19, 2021 in which new details about this production will be announced.

Synopsis of sacks & weapons !!
In the distant future, humanity was forced to live in an underground world known as “The Labyrinth”. In this place there are several colonies with different environments, some with very high temperatures and others for example full of gold and silver. Among them is the Pinyin Colony, where a nine-year-old girl named Memempuu and her father Gaganbar live. As “workers” who want to survive, they control a large robot that digs for minerals.
One day Memempuu asks his father to look for his mother. As a “marker”, Gaganbar has the most dangerous job in the colony, namely mapping the labyrinth. But this is also an advantage as he is the only one who knows the dangerous roads outside the colony. With that, both will depart on a possibly one-way trip.
