On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Akane Shimizu, Hataraku Saibouthe cover of the first Blu-ray / DVD volume of the project’s second season, entitled Hataraku Saibou !! (with two exclamation marks).
This volume will be released in Japan on February 3, 2021. The Blu-ray version costs 4,400 yen (about $ 42) and the DVD version costs 3,300 yen (about $ 32). The episode listing has revealed that this volume will contain an episode entitled “Tankoubun (Compiled)),” which means the content has not yet been decided.
The series is scheduled to premiere on January 9, 2021 in Japan. At the same time, the animated adaptation of the spin-off manga will also be broadcast. Hataraku Saibou Black, produced by another studio. Shimizu, for his part, publishes the original manga in the magazine Shonen Sirius monthly from the publisher Kodansha since March 2015.
