One of the most influential producers in certain areas of Japanese animation, the famous Susumu Yoshikawa, died last Friday at 6 a.m. in his home in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The news was given to the media by his wife Yoshiko.
Yoshikawa’s debut dates back to 1968when he decided to invest in the live action series Nippon Kenkyakuden. Attracted by the story of the “King of the Manga”, ShΕtarΕ Ishinomori, and by the universes and locations that featured heroes who were ready to control giant war machines and armor rich in weapons and equipment In 1972 he made his first real project or Android Kikaider.
