A wave of anime movies will hit Crunchyroll, but not only. There will be many series that will make their debut in the next few months, such as Sugar Apple Fairy Tail, which will be released on Simultaneous transmission next year with the Japanese broadcast.
Accompanying the announcement at Crunchyroll Expo 2022 was a first promotional video and a poster that allow us to get to know the protagonists of the work. Sugar Apple Fairy Tail plays in one fantasy universe where fairies are objects of trade and have bad relationships with humans. On a perilous journey, however, the fairy Challe and Anne Halford develop a wonderful friendship that transcends the bounds of social hatred.
The staff of the anime series, in Production at JC Staff, includes Youhei Suzuki as director, Seishi Minakami as series composer, and Haruko Iizuka as character designer. Mikawa's light novels ran from 2010 to 2015 and also inspired a manga adaptation.
Humans and fairies are not on the best of terms. But Anne hopes to befriend Challe, her new fairy bodyguard.
