The anime will be in production from April 2022 Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts, based on Yu Tomofuji's shōjo manga completed in 15 volumes published by Hakusensha. After months of silence, animation studio JC Staff is back with a number of important production updates, including a very detailed trailer.

In fact, the promotional video presents the beginning of the story and focuses on the relationships between the main characters, especially the bond that connects them Sariphivoiced by Kana Hanazawa, to Leonhart, known as the King of Beasts, a particularly feared ruler who, however, turns out to be much more human and sensitive in the eyes of the protagonist.

Other cast additions have also been confirmed, such as Takuma Terashima in the role of Anubis, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of OzmargoChikahiro Kobayashi as Jormungand, commander of the Imperial Guard, and Megumi Han as Amit, princess of the crocodile race.

Bennu's design was also presented, or the chick form of the sacred animal that will have the voice of Hiroyuki Yoshino and that you can see in the image at the bottom of the page.
