The platform Netflix posted a new promotional video for the studio-produced original anime TMS Entertainment Y. Quebico, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness ((Biohazard: Infinite darkness). The video confirms that the series will premiere worldwide on the platform next July.

Production team

  • Eiichirou Hasumi ((Umizaru, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (live action), Wild Seven, The sun doesn’t move) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios TMS Entertainment in collaboration with studios Quebicowho are responsible for the 3D CG animation.
  • Hiroyuki Kobayashi is responsible for producing and writing the original story of this original project, which was previously involved in the production of the franchise’s video games.
  • Yuugo Kanno ((Psycho-Pass, Ajin, JoJo’s bizarre adventure: Stardust Crusaders) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Synopsis

In 2006 there were traces of unauthorized access to secret files of the President found on the White House network. US Federal Agent Leon S. Kennedy is part of the group invited to the White House to investigate the incident. However, when the lights suddenly go out, Leon and the SWAT team must defeat a horde of mysterious zombies. Meanwhile, Claire Redfield, a TerraSave employee, comes across a mysterious picture drawn by a young man in a country she is visiting while helping refugees. Haunted by this drawing, which appears to have been infected by a virus, Claire begins her own investigation.

The next morning, Claire visits the White House to request the construction of a social facility. There she has the opportunity to meet Leon and show him the child’s drawing. Leon seems to see a connection between the zombie outbreak at the White House and the strange drawing, but tells Claire that there is no relationship and leaves. Over time, these two zombie outbreaks in distant lands lead to events that rock the nation to the core.
