Through social media for the original project Gibiate, produced by the composer and illustrator Yoshitaka Amano, it was announced that the premiere of the series is scheduled for next July 8. Gibiate Synopsis
Year 2030: Japan. A virus has infected humans worldwide. The infected become monsters according to their ages, sexes and races. The virus was called "Gibia".
Just then, a samurai and a ninja appear in this desolate Japan. Both traveled from the ancient Edo period, and will fight together to help a doctor find a cure for Gibia.
Facing multiple and incessant Gibia monsters and various survivors searching for food, they will begin the dangerous journey to resolve this world conflict.
