The approval of an anime adaptation of Redo of Healer is incredible news in itself, and the fact that Sentai Filmworks announced it a few hours ago legal spread in the west is probably the biggest surprise of 2020, at least as far as the anime sector is concerned. The controversy has of course already broken out on Twitter, But this is just the beginning.

First, Sentai Filmworks has confirmed that it will distribute the series in the US, Canada and the rest of America, including South and Central America. The anime will also legally arrive in South Africa, Greenland, Oceania and several European countries including the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Spain and Portugal. Italy is currently excluded from the list, but we will have more information in the coming weeks.

Back to the anime, we’ve already talked about the reasons Redo of Healer has been so controversial in the past, but in case you’re new to the story, this is what we expect The manga is overly violentand which contains some scenes that cannot be broadcast without some kind of censorship. For now, we can only wait for the upcoming TV series release to evaluate how Studio TNK handled these scenes. However, given the reception at Interspecies Reviewers, it’s definitely surprising that a similar anime is officially released.
