After fulfilling his biggest dream of becoming world champion PokemonAsh Ketchum faces his latest adventure as the protagonist. The Aim to Be a Pokémon Master series is a way of saying hello to the trainer, but according to producer Yuyiama, there seems to be a deeper purpose behind the production.
It’s in exactly one month April 14, 2023the new anime series set in the Pokémon universe will debut in Japan, and it will be the first in which Ash does not play the central role. For this reason, the authors of these last episodes, focused on his journey, have tried to make the fans relive an experience very similar to that of the first historical season of 1997. This was one of the main goals of the production, as confirmed by the Producer Kunihiko Yuyiama in an interview published in Animedia Magazine.
“It all started with the idea of retracing Ash and Pikachu’s last steps one last time.
