On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Daisuke Hiyama, Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan, it was announced that the series will have a third version titled “Super Philosopher”, however it did not describe what it consists of. So far the series has confirmed a total of three versions, which it has described as follows:

  • Normal version: “Acceptable for television“
  • Great Philosopher version: “Maybe it’s fine streaming“
  • Version “Super Philopher”: “Not recommendable“

On the other hand, the series will premiere on July 10 through different television networks in Japan and streaming platforms, with fifteen-minute episodes. Hiyama started publishing the manga in the magazine Manga Action from the publisher Futabasha in July 2017. The publisher published the fifth compilation volume on January 10.

Synopsis of Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan

After winning a tournament and being crowned the strongest warrior in the world, Peter Grill discovers a problem in his current wonderful life. It turns out that women of all species, from ogres to elves, are fighting each to get their “seed” and make sure they give birth to strong descendants.

Poor Peter, he just wants to settle down with a beautiful fiancee … but now he has to run away from that harem of beautiful monster girls that the last thing they will do is treat him well.
