There is no longer a way to stop the climb towards final saga of ONE PIECE, a phase that the whole world has been waiting for for years and that Eiichiro Oda has confirmed several times in recent times, with announcements outside of the manga and with many events that make us understand the direction taken. Apotheosis is about to arrive with many clashes in a row.

The world is at war, every island becomes a battlefield. THE Protagonists of ONE PIECE are at Egghead, who was involved in an attempt to kill Vegapunk and who now needs to be rescued, but other characters shouldn’t be forgotten. Blackbeard still faces Trafalgar Law nearby, while Kid and his crew were completely destroyed by Shanks’ powerful attack. Finally, in the very last chapter, Monkey D. Garp, the legendary Navy Vice Admiral who came to Hachinosu to rescue his apprentice Koby and put an end to Blackbeard’s plans, sets into motion.

In ONE PIECE 1081 we return to Egghead? Maybe yes, maybe not: the protagonists have been gone for a few chapters and Eiichiro Oda could therefore decide to return to them. Lately, however, at least, the mangaka seems to have decided to show what’s happening in the outside world just before a hiatus. Considering that ONE PIECE will go on hiatus again after Chapter 1081 due to Golden Week, which sees a halt to the publication of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Oda may decide to focus on other issues. The author’s narration will likely lead to long-distance readers of Hachinosu, but Blackbeard could be revisited with Trafalgar Law. Unless another island becomes the scene of the next events, the situation of the Five Stars of Wisdom, Im-sama and the Navy should not be underestimated.

So there is a 50% chance of seeing a different scenario, but the return of Luffy and his companions still fighting in Egghead cannot be ruled out. In this case, an action-packed chapter is looming, in which the clashes of the Seraphim are in the foreground. ONE PIECE 1081 will be released on Sunday, April 23 at 5:00 p.m.
