My senpai is annoyingShiro Manta’s romantic manga published by Kodansha is about to receive an anime adaptation edited by Kobo stave, Studio responsible for the implementation of the excellent sing “Yesterday” for me. The series will debut in 2021 and a few minutes ago the first official teaser trailer was surprisingly shown.

For those unfamiliar with the work, My Senpai Is Annoying is a one-piece life-parts romantic manga written and drawn by Shiro Manta, serialized since 2017 and currently running with 6 volumes published. The series already has a million copies in circulation in Japanand the summary is as follows: “Igarashi Futaba is a young and energetic office worker who is constantly teased by her Senpai Takeda Harumi, a boy who likes to treat her like a kid because of her height. Will Futaba be able to manage her emotions, job, and personal life? And what do you really think of Harumi?“.

Ryota Itoh (Sing “Yesterday” to me, Ping Pong, Aikatsu Stars!) The anime will be directed Kobo stave (Sing “Yesterday” to me, Love Lab) while Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster) works on the script under the supervision of the author. Shigemitsu Abe (Killing Bites) is responsible for the character design, Takeshi Takadera (Yowamushi Pedal, RIN-NE) the direction of sound e Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone, Children of the Whales) the musical composition. The anime does not currently have a release date, although the studio has suggested on several occasions that the series will debut later in 2021.
