Exciting news for Monogatari Series fans! The first promotional video for the anime adaptation of the subfranchises "Off Season" and "Monster Season" was revealed at AnimeJapan 2024. However, the format of the premiere, scheduled for this year in Japan, is still unclear.

About the Light Novels

"Off Season" consists of four volumes and "Monster Season" consists of six volumes. The publication of the light novels began in August 2005 through the publisher Kodansha, with illustrations by Vofan.

Production Team

  • Akiyuki Shinbou (Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica, Nisekoi, 3-gatsu no Lion) is in charge of supervising the project and is also in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
  • Midori Yoshizawa (Go-toubun no Hanayome, 3-gatsu no Lion, Fate/EXTRA Last Encore, Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios SHAFT.
  • Fuyashi Tou (Nisekoi, 3-gatsu no Lion, Bishounen Tanteidan) also participates in writing and supervising the scripts.
  • Akio Watanabe (Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, Grisaia no Meikyuu, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) is in charge of character design and animation direction.

A Glimpse into the Story

The Monogatari Series follows Koyomi Araragi, who encounters the vampire Shinobu Oshino and becomes involved in the lives of others with supernatural afflictions in his attempt to return to a normal human life.
