The platform is via its official Twitter account in Germany Crunchyroll announced the production of a second season of the anime adaptation of Kyo Shirodaira and illustrated by Chasiba katase, Kyokou Suiri ((In / Specter). The statement did not include a release date or production details.

Shirodaira began to publish the light novels with illustrations by Hiro Kiyohara in 2011 by the publishing label Kodansha novels, later moved to the label Kodansha Taigawhere he started using Chasiba Katase’s illustrations. The publisher has published a total of four volumes so far.

The literary franchise inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Brain base, Headed by Keiji gotoh and scripts from Noboru Takagi, published January 2020.

Synopsis of Kyokou Suiri

When she was a child, Kotoko was abducted by a yokai (a creature that takes on human and animal characteristics). These spirits made her a powerful mediator between the spirit world and that of humans, but this power had a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, he watches over the dangerous yokai and develops feelings for a young man named Kuro who has healing powers due to an incident with a yokai and asks him to join the team to deal with and save the renegade yokai fine line between reality and the supernatural.
