On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Souichirou Yamamoto, Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi (In the heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki) the second promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for April 9th in Japan and shows a fragment of the opening theme titled “Highlight Highlight“ and performed by The Peggys.
The press release also revealed the designs for 38 characters taking part in the series, although it didn’t reveal the full cast of voices:
Yamamoto began publishing the manga in the magazine Monthly Shōnen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan in January 2018. This is the author’s third work Souichiro Yamamoto next to which there will be an anime adaptation in 2022 Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (When will Ayumu make his move?) and the third season of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (Teasing from Master Takagi-san).

Synopsis for Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi
An all-girl group composed mostly of young kunoichi in training, the isolated Akane clan has a code that all must adhere to: since males are dangerous beings, associating with them is forbidden. Kunoichi Tsubaki, the leader of the so-called Dog Squad, is an excellent trainee with a promising future, but she’s begun to experience a strange feeling in her heart…when the subject of boys comes up.
