Kenshin Samurai Vagabond, one of the most famous series of the 90's, returns with a new anime. This anticipated anime reboot will therefore lead viewers to rediscover one of the most famous pearls of the past. But When will Rurouni Kenshin's new series debut?
The announcement of Reboot of the anime inspired by Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga a first commercial followed. The trailer of Rurouni Kenshin has introduced the public to the eponymous wandering samurai, the protagonist of the series, and aroused the curiosity of the youngest. As reported by the anime's new key visual, the The Kenshin Samurai Vagabond reboot will be released in Summer 2023. The debut is officially slated for July, coinciding with the start of the summer anime schedule.
The new project is not expected to contain any fillers that fans of the original film had discussed so much, aired between 1996 and 1998 with 95 episodes. At the forefront of the reboot are LIDEN FILMS, which should therefore follow the canon of the Watsuki manga.
Rurouni Kenshin will be hired during theeleventh year of the Japanese Meiji period (Year 1878) and follows the story of former assassin Bakumatsu Hitokiri Battosai, who vanished into thin air to assume the identity of Kenshin Himura. Under these cloaks, he must confront a mysterious criminal who will stain his real name and the sword school he teaches.
