Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the manga Kanojo, Okarishimasu, which is written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, a new promotional video was revealed and new members were announced for the voice cast. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 10.

In the video you can hear the opening theme “Sentimental” played by the female rock band The Peggies.

The site also revealed a new visual.

Cast of voices

The recently announced members are:

Yukari Nozawa as Nagomi Kinoshita, Kazuya Kinoshita’s grandmother.

Masayuki Akasaka as Yoshiaki Kibe, one of Kazuya’s friends.

Gakuto Kajiwara as Shun Kuribayashi, another of Kayuya’s friends.

The previously announced members are:

  • Sora Amamiya like Chizuru Mizuhara.
  • Aoi Yūki like Mami Nanami.
  • Nao Tōyama like Ruka Sarashina.
  • Rie Takahashi like Sumi Sakurasawa.
  • Shun Horie like Kazuya Kinoshita.

Production team

Singer Halca will interpret the closing theme. Both The Peggies and Halca created their songs exclusively for the anime.

Miyajima launched the manga in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2017.

Synopsis of Kanojo, Okarishimasu

In Japan, loners have a new option; An online service to rent parents, children, and even girlfriends! When Kazuya’s platonic love rejects him, he decides he is desperate enough to try the service, and is shocked when he discovers how beautiful his rental girlfriend is.

However, she wants to keep her “relationship” a secret, and there is a problem … she attends her university … and her grandmothers live in the same house … and they are neighbors! To her dismay, Kazuya will discover that she is not as great as she appears …
