Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane used every resource at their disposal to force each other to explain themselves. However, this lengthy rom-com by Aka Akasaka is very close to the end. Kaguya-sama will end in a few days, in the next issue of Weekly Young Jump, along with the story of Kaguya and Shirogane.
But there are some things that have remained open and that will not be solved in the latest chapter of Kaguya-sama: Love is War. In fact, there is no time to cover certain subplots hinted at by Aka Akasaka in a chapter that will mainly focus on the two protagonists. A Weekly Young Jump magazine leak surfaced Aka Akasaka’s comment on the matter.
That Mangaka admitted that he could create spinoffs of Kaguya-sama: Love is War just to explain and tell an outstanding element. However, it is not said that these spin-offs or sequels will be covered in manga format. The author, who is currently focused on Oshi no Ko and creating a new series, does not yet have clear ideas about the future.
However, the fact is that Kaguya-sama: Love is War might be backmaybe with an explanation through a light novel or with a suitable manga, which is composed of different oneshots.
Aka Akasaka comment after the last chapter: “I still have a few things unfinished (with Kaguya-sama), so maybe I can digest them somehow. I think I’d like to do it (a spin-off)” pic.twitter.com/lKoqsZKewC
