After the introduction of new characters and Yuji's resolution in chapter 138 of Jujutsu KaisenThe new pages immediately showed a sudden conflict between the protagonist and several curses before coming to a twist that could surprise and leave room for interesting future developments.
By title "Hunter" Chapter 139, now available on the MangaPlus website, begins exactly with a quick succession of tables at which Yuji proves his skills, impressing Choso, the cursed ghost who has now become his ally and even defines him as a demon god. Shortly after the curses have been easily removed, the focus shifts to a character who only appeared in the last chapter for the first time. Naoya Zenin, one of Naobito's sons, and so confident that he believes he is the true heir of the Zenin family.
Yuji learns that in a short, distracted conversation his death sentence is valid again as he no longer has Gojo's support. Naoya is about to get engaged to Megumi, and while not directly interested in Yuji's and Choso's actions, he can't let them hang around like that and threatens to break his legs.
After a quick exchange of blows, Yuji finds himself facing an opponent of exceptional speed, while Naoya understands the protagonist's potential. Suddenly, however, the three fighters feel an aura that is very similar to that of Gojo, but is defined as more disturbing and appears in the final table Yuta Okkotsu, Star of the Jujutsu High Prequel series.
Recall that in the anime, Yuji and Todo made an extraordinary team, and we leave you to a lovely poll conducted for Valentine's Day in Japan, where fans were asked what character they would have given a chocolate.
