In order to expand its market and legally bring its intellectual property to the West, Shueisha has started the MangaPlus project, which consists in opening a portal through which you can read the chapters of various manga simultaneously with Japan. Beyond the new stories there are Space for Jojo’s bizarre adventure too.
Among the many mangas available on MangaPlus is the most of Weekly Shonen Jump and Shonen Jump +In fact, it’s not all new works like those currently appearing in Japanese magazines. In a cyclical way, the platform also suggests some past stories that are very much loved by the fans. One of them is Jojo’s bizarre adventure, which brought readers a chapter every Saturday.
Saturday 20th February 2021 However, it marks the beginning of Jojo’s bizarre adventure: Stardust Crusader, third generation of the story of Hirohiko Araki with Jotaro Kujo protagonist. The first chapter, entitled “Jotaro Kujo – Part 1”, is already available in English on the platform that allows legal and free reading of the manga, and lets us meet the third JoJo.
Meanwhile, MangaPlus continues to grow and has prepared for the arrival of a new language. We are waiting to see if Manga in Italian comes out in the future.
