Jojolion’s conclusion, eighth part of Jojo’s bizarre adventure, prompted Hirohiko Araki to simultaneously announce work on another manga: the ninth installment of his generational story. And so, after a little over a year of waiting, fans can enjoy the content of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Jojolands.
Jojolands will be released in February 2023 on Ultra Jump, the same Seinen magazine that welcomed the last two generations, the seventh and eighth. Hirohiko Araki will therefore maintain a similar style to the previous Steel Ball Run and Jojolion, even if the information has been swallowed for the time being. In fact, the mangaka hasn’t said much and it’s only in the last few days, with the release of the first chapter approaching, that the first images officially come out to the public.
After the Jojolands setting, it’s time to see another important detail of this story. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga is coming back next month and therefore Ultra Jump has provided a preview page. As well as revealing that the work will of course be on the cover and with pages in colour, ha revealed the face of the protagonist of Jojolands. The character has a tuft of hair that almost covers his eyes, while it is gathered into a small braid on the right where a star-shaped clasp stands out.
Nothing else is known about him, but the preview reads as follows: “This story is about a boy who stumbles upon great wealth on a subtropical island…”. This is also used for that Immerse yourself in the surroundings of Jojolands, which is sure to be full of surprises. Below is the tweet with the preview.
