Hormiya, the new CloverWorks anime from the great hero manga, has basically got everyone to come to an agreement after two episodes and establish itself as one of the best romantic comedies of the moment. On the web portals, The premiere was the most watched of all time for a romcomand easily surpasses the Kaguya-Sama: love is a war record.
As reported by the MyAnimeList portal, The first episode of Horimiya was seen by 89,242 users, against 82,808 of the first season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War and 55,228 of Rent-A-Girlfriend, another success of the last season. The average rating is slightly lower than that of the second season of the A-1 Pictures anime, however The number of users who added the series to their list increased in the second weekfrom about 89,000 to 200,000.
Horimiya is currently the sixth most popular anime of the winter season after Attack of the Giants 4, The Promised No Man’s Land, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, The Life of a Slime, and Re: Zero 2. However, all of the anime in question are sequels, in contrast to the little gem from CloverWorks.
Much of the anime’s success can be attributed to the story of Hero, however The series has increased the average quality of work thanks to the excellent work of the two leading speakers, Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna Yuuki in Sword Art Online) and Harayuki Somato (Yu Otosaka in Charlotte, Yuri Plisetsky in Yuri on Ice). Incidentally, the animations from CloverWorks are of excellent workmanship. The anime is currently not legally visible in Italy, but future acquisition is always possible.
