On the official site for the anime adaptation of the novels written by Miya Kazuki, Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen, three new voice cast members were revealed for the second half of the series.
New cast members include (from left to right):
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Karstad, the commander of the Ehrenfest knights.
- Yuichiro Umehara like knight Damuel.
- Haruki Ishiya like knight Shikikoza.
This second season has been broadcast since April 4. The first part was released in October 2019. In addition, an OVA was released on March 10. For his part, Kazuki began publishing the novels on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2013, and You Shiina illustrates the print edition.

Synopsis of Honzuki no Gekokujou
Motosu Urano, a book-loving college student who recently earned her certification as a librarian and was supposed to start her dream job after graduation, dies in an earthquake by being crushed under her massive collection of books.
Desiring to reincarnate with the sole desire to continue reading, he reincarnates in a world with a low level of literacy and very few books, limited only to the nobility of the world. As she adjusts to her new life as the humble soldier’s five-year-old daughter, now named Mayne, no matter how much she wants to read, there is no way to access books.
