Heavenly madness, the award-winning manga by Masakazu Ishiguro, is getting an animated adaptation soon. The anime series is being produced by animation studio Production IG, which has released a first promotional film that reveals some details about the project.

Ishiguro's manga series published in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine in 2018 and the following year by Kono Manga ga Sugoi! was awarded is about to be an anime adaptation. The implementation was entrusted to the experienced hands of Production IGan animation company committed to working with Netflix and Disney along with WIT Studio and in the past The Deer King and Haikyuu!! has made.

Heavenly Delusion has been presented for a few weeks, but production details were only announced today. That post-apocalyptic anime teaser trailer which you can find in the tweet at the bottom of the article, officially introduces the staff in charge of production. The anime will be directed by Daiki Mori, while Makoto Fukami will oversee the scripts. Utsushita acts as the character designer.

in the Release in 2023, Heavenly Delusion is set in a world where humanity lives within walls of security, where young people grow up alongside robots like in a kindergarten. The outside world is hell, inhabited by bizarre and powerful supernatural monsters. Maru visits the former Tokyo with Kiruko's help. But the paradise you are looking for is more of a dream than a reality.
