Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Shachi Sogano and illustrated by Douji Shiki, Isekai Meikyuu from Harem wo (Harem in the labyrinth of another world) the first promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for July 6 in Japan.and previews the opening theme “oath“ interpreted by Shiori Mikami.
The press release also confirmed that the series will have a total of three versions with different levels of censorship. That “TV version‘ includes both visual and audio censorship, which ‘harem version‘ becomes image-only censorship and the ‘Super harem version‘ will involve no censorship at all. It’s worth remembering that the Crunchyroll platform will handle distribution in the west, although previous experience would indicate that they will license the censored version. (The pretense “The Explicit is an exclusive version” does not apply as HIDIVE has licensed uncensored (or less censored) versions like Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi in the past).
Sogano and Shiki began publishing the light novels through the publisher in December 2012 Shufunotome. The publisher published the tenth volume in March 2020, followed by the eleventh in December 2020 in Japan. A manga adaptation of Hyouju Issei will be published in the magazine Monthly Shonen Ace from the publisher Kadokawa since May 2017.
