For ten years we have been accompanied by Fullmetal Alchemist, a work considered by many to be the best or in any case among the most beautiful not only of the Shonen panorama but of that of the manga in general. The mastermind behind this work is Hiromu Arakawa, born Hiromi, born on May 8, 1973 in Hokkaido, or the northern island of Japan.

Therefore, today is Hiromu Arakawa's birthday who turns 47. Tokachi's mangaka from an early age dreamed of following mangaka's career while growing up on the family farm.

After finishing Fullmetal Alchemist, also worked on Hero Tales and Silver Spoon, the latter concluded a few months ago on Weekly Shonen Sunday. At the moment, the mangaka remains active thanks to the manga The Heroic Legend of Arslan, published monthly on Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

It is not known if Hiromu Arakawa is planning a new manga at the moment, although certainly fans are hoping to return with a work that can rival the magnus opus, Fullmetal Alchemist. Numerous adaptation projects have also been drawn from her works, including the souls of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the soul of Silver Spoon and that of The Heroic Legend of Arslan that have made the works of the author even more famous globally. Happy birthday, Arakawa-sensei.
