Series Background

The manga, created by Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater), ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022. The anime adaptation has already delivered two successful seasons totaling 48 episodes, which aired in Summer 2019 and Summer 2020.

The story follows Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic, as he navigates his role in the Special Fire Force while confronting both personal trauma and a growing conspiracy threatening to engulf the world in flames.
