Even today it is strange to think that the Super Saiyan has become an obsolete force. While what our heroes' trump card was took a back seat with the newly introduced power-ups, what it represented was by no means trivial.
Akira Toriyama's particular transformation made the history of the franchise, but it runs much deeper than a simple hair dye or greater physical strength.
We often refer to the Super Saiyan - and rightly so - as a kind of 'spiritual power'. In this context, the words of Whis who primarily referred to it as a "mutation" during the Tournament of Power saga. More specifically, it is a conceptual mixture of the spiritual element, that of the aura or that of the Ki to be clear, and the subject of evolution, hence scientific.
The power of the spirit It's a concept we've seen a lot in the franchise, even in Dragon Ball Super, as it's also proving to be the driving force behind Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego. And you, what do you think of this reflection? As usual, let us know what you think with a comment below.
Super Saiyan is often referred to as a "spiritual force", probably due to its connection to Chi. In Dragon Ball, Super Whis refers to Super Saiyan as a mutation, meaning that Super Saiyan is conceptually a fusion of spirituality and science, like Dragon Ball itself. pic.twitter.com/yURWV8U8DD
