There is a kind of ritual among fans, something that every new transformation and evolutionary stage inserted into Dragon Ball must face before it can be accepted by the public and before becoming therefore, in all respects, canonical. Something that goes beyond just appearing in the original series.

Intact over the years, every time Toriyama has brought out a new stage of power since Kaioken to the Super Saiyan Blue, there has always been someone who started the ritual of passage, or to associate with a fan art the transformation in question to another character. We have seen, for example, Vegeta Super Saiyan 3, Gohan Super Saiyan 4 and now that theUltra Instinct has been revealed, the same thing is happening.

We have already shown you the early stages of ritual accomplished. We have seen, in fact, the appearance of many fan art that started the acceptance process by fans of this new power that Goku has demonstrated. Gohan was one of the first characters to appear in Ultra Instinct mode. Afterwards we also saw the Prince of Saiyans show off as in this spectacular illustration and, if that were not enough, to complete the ritual once and for all, today we want show you another.

It is a third Saiyan, one of the most loved characters in the series. We are talking about Trunks from the Future which, as you can see from the drawing at the bottom of the article, it shows itself in all its power, bare-chested, with ragged pants and a cracked sword, in Ultra Instinct mode.
