The new Dragon Ball Super saga has begun and fans don’t really know what to expect from the antagonist / antihero Granolla. Toyotaro started talking about the latest saga: “Unlike the Tournament of Power, Molo’s story arc was serialized with no fans knowing what it could be, so it was a little intimidating at first. I made several attempts, but in the end I think I was able to draw the best story possible (Editor’s note. Instead of making the best story, draw and then implement Toriyama’s designs in the best possible way.)
Then the author revealed the name of his favorite character and spoke briefly about the new saga: “We introduced a lot of new characters But at the end I would say my favorite is Merus. The concept was completely new so it was very difficult to draw, but in the end I settled into the character and it became my favorite. […] The new story arc took much longer to plan than the previous one, but it’s been worth it since then Toriyama made a really good design. I can’t go into details, but I can tell you there will be enough revelation and twists and turns to keep you all hooked. Things are just starting to warm up so keep following us!“.
We don’t know if the Granolla saga will be the last or not, but considering that it took two years to get rid of Molo, we can assume that the new story will bring no fewer chapters to close. The date for the next publications is always on the 20th of each month at 4:00 p.m. at MangaPlus.
