On July 5, 2015, the first episode of the anime of Dragonball Super, a globally anticipated event that brought fandom back to the world of the Z Warriors. It has been exactly 6 years since that day, but the last three were marked by the disappearance of the animated series. Where have you been?
Dragon Ball Super takes place between the end of the Majin Buu saga and the actual epilogue of Dragon Ball Z. Four years after the defeat of Majin Buu, peace reigns on planet earth. But suddenly the god of destruction Beerus, accompanied by the angel Whis, wakes up from a long sleep and goes in search of a powerful adversary who appeared to him in a dream. In search of the legendary Super Saiyan God, Beerus arrives on Earth and meets Vegeta and Goku with whom he begins an epic battle.
In Japan, the anime Dragon Ball Super was released from July 5, 2015 to March 25, 2018 for a period of. aired on Fuji Television Broadcast for two years and eight months. During this time, the animation series has given us the implementation of five sagas, two of which come from the related films.
With a a total of 131 episodes in the fortune, today the animated adaptation of the work by Toriyama and Toyotaro celebrates its sixth birthday. The duration of detention therefore exceeds that of broadcasters. But what happened to Dragon Ball Super?
While the anime was paused, the manga went on with two more storylines, the saga of the prisoner of the galactic patrol and the saga of Granolah the survivor. The anime’s legacy is carried on by Super Dragon Ball Heroes, who has just turned three.
