The Molo saga is over and as expected in the last few days, a new narrative arc will begin with Chapter 67 of Dragon Ball Super, in which the character of Granolla. It’s hard to tell right now who the new warrior is or what the target is, but the brand new spoilers seem to reveal more information.
The first tables show Beerus and Whis fight Zeno, probably angry about what happened to Molo. In the previous chapter, the God of Destruction had been called by the high priest, and now he is in the presence of the most powerful being in the narrative universe of Dragon Ball, forced to justify what happened. Whis seems to have received an important message during the meeting.
Later the head of Android 73 is shown, who survived Molo’s fatal attack. The most interesting part, however, is the one shown on the following pages. Granolla attacks a base with non-lethal weaponsand after immobilizing his opponents he encounters a multitude of androids 73. The antagonist (or antihero at this point) could therefore be the true creator of the androids, or simply a bounty hunter paid to take them down. In the last table, Granolla refers to one of the specimens as “The Original Android 73”.
In the new spoilers Granolla looks more like some kind of mercenary or space pirateand not as a real antagonist, and online comparisons to Future Trunks have already been wasted. On the other hand, the large number of androids could be worrying, and we remember that we were able to copy their opponents’ abilities. The original Android could therefore be the new villain.
