Before going through the events of the film Dragon Ball great: Super Hero, Toyotaro made a short saga focusing on Goten and Trunks. The two high school students have played marginal roles since the events of the Majin Buu saga, and although their contribution has ended again, we might see them back in action in the future.
The discovery of androids, created without the slightest ethics by Dr. Hedo was made and the presence of top secret data in one Disk trunks restored, has put Goku and Vegeta’s children in a series of complicated situations. Being able to handle school life, personal relationships, and superhero duties certainly doesn’t come easy, but for two boys so powerful and with great synergy on the battlefield, the threats seem less dangerous.
In the Final Tables of Chapter 90, available on MangaPlus, the two are actually forced to leave a party to meet Dr. Chasing Hedo, however, find themselves up against an android dinosaur, a nice nod to the series’ past, when Toriyama still inserted such creatures into the vast world he created. Despite the strength of Dino droid number 1Goten and Trunks, transforming into a Super Saiyan, manage to destroy him with extreme ease.
combined attacks, Simultaneous transformations and incredible combat chemistry could be central to the future of the series, although even Goku and Vegeta have been honing their complicity on the battlefield for some time.
