The highly anticipated second part of the third season of the “Dr. STONE” anime, known as “Dr. STONE NEW WORLD” will be hitting our screens this Fall 2023 (October-December) in Japan.
Our friends over at TMS Entertainment studios have a special treat for us! They recently dropped an amazing video featuring the opening theme song of the first part. It’s called “Wasuregataki (ワスレガタキ)” and it’s performed by the talented Huwie Ishizaki. Prepare to be mesmerized!
Origin of the Manga: A Journey through Time
The incredible minds of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi first blessed us with the “Dr. STONE” manga back in March 2017, published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It was an epic adventure that lasted until March 2022, capturing our hearts along the way.
Anime Adaptation: Bringing the Pages to Life
Hold on, because this manga gem received a spectacular 24-episode anime adaptation! Produced by the talented team at TMS Entertainment, the series premiered in July 2019. In January 2021, a second season comprising of eleven episodes was released. This was followed by a special episode titled “Dr. STONE Ryuusui” in July 2022.
