The American giant dedicated to on-demand streaming Disney +, is starting to put the Japanese animation market more and more in the spotlight to compete with major media distributors around the world. So here are the first titles to be included in the catalog.
Disney’s interest in anime had already manifested itself with Star Wars: Visions, an ambitious project that drew several animation studios in order to achieve the best possible result. However, it won’t be the only title that includes the portal’s important timeline, as 4 titles have been announced that will appear in the next few years from 2022.
The first of these is the original Disney Twisted Wonderland, inspired by the video game of the same name from 2020, but there will also be other major productions like Yojohan Time Machine Blues, through the Sciene Saru Study, e Daylight saving time rendering, Anime is slated to debut along with in 2022 Black Rock Shooter Dawn Fall.
Could this just be the first of many steps taken by the streaming giant in Japanese animation? But above all, what do you think of this change of course?
