With over a thousand episodes published, Detective Conan is one of the longest-running and most popular anime series of all time. However, Gosho Aoyama's iconic work is not limited to telling the adventure of Shinichi Kudo / Conan Edogawa, but rather unfolds in several other stories parallel to the main story. One of them is Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa.

Regarding the Spin-off manga series by Mayuko Kanba, this will soon receive an animated adaptation. As we previously reported, Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa will be a Netflix anime.

The customization has appeared in a new preview promotional video which reveals some details about the production, such as the abbreviations. The opener "Tsukamaete, Konya" (Arrest Me Tonight) was entrusted to Leon Niihama, while the ending "Secret, voice of my heart" was entrusted to Mai Kuraki.

In the trailer we make the acquaintance of the protagonist of the series, the mysterious black man who dresses the character of the murderer under investigation in the main series. In the clip, he moves suspiciously near a station, ready to claim victims, knife in hand. Later, however, we see him panicking, perhaps for fear of being spotted by the little glasses-wearing detective.

Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa will debut on Netflix on October 4th and is available produced by TMS Entertainment Studio 1.
