Like every Monday for two months Ufotable has informed fans about the Demon Slayer: Infinity Train collectionThis shows that by the third week of December, the film added an additional 1.2 billion yen (about โ‚ฌ 9.5 million) to the grand total. Currently, only 520 million yen separate the film from the enchanted city record.

It would have been a record until last week, but recently Studio Ghibli updated The Enchanted City’s grand total, which rose from 30.8 billion yen to 31.68 billion yen. The guys from Ufotable therefore have to wait another week.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Train is sure to stay in Japanese theaters throughout January 4D screenings will begin in at least 81 cinemas on December 26th. After the screenings are over, it is plausible that the film has far exceeded the current record of the Ghibli masterpiece.

However, to celebrate, Ufotable shared a new trailer for the film, although we expect multiple spoilers to be present. We also remind you that Demon Slayer: Infinity Train will arrive in Italy during 2021.
