Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba it was a journey full of horror and darkness of the night, but after millennial dangers, a new dawn has come for humanity. However, it did not arrive without sacrifices and the chapter 204 arrived on MangaPlus at 6 pm shows us what the consequences of the battle are.

Weekly Shonen Jump has dedicated a color page for Demon Slayer 204, which shows us the two protagonists while they observe all their fallen comrades. Three months later, Tanjiro is still in bed in the Butterfly Residence, once belonging to Kocho Shinobu. In bed with Nezuko at his side, his left arm is completely unusable and withered while the right eye has gone blind. Her sister, on the other hand, is better despite the scars of Tanjiro's attack when she was a demon.

In a flashback, we also see the meeting between Yushiro and Tanjiro, with the demon that underlines the boy's great luck in being able to return to human. The protagonist of Demon Slayer asks Yushiro not to die and to bring Tamayo's memories with him. Returning to the present, Tanjiro and Nezuko, together with Inosuke and Zenitsu, also speak with Uzui and Rengoku, while the last meeting with the pillars is going on at the Ubuyashiki residence. The body of demon hunters is finally dissolved.

Sanemi reconciles with Nezuko as all the other characters left alive are shown, including Aoi who has a touching scene with Inosuke. The quartet of protagonists then returns to Tanjiro's home where they seem to start living permanently. The last page transits us from their daily life to a contemporary scenario, anticipating the ending of the Demon Slayer story.
