Aniplex is in a serious internal crisis resulting in several series being cancelled. Just hours after the discontinuation of NieR Automata Ver 1.1a, the manufacturer was forced to take the same action for other works as well.
A press release has been published on the official website of the anime Ayakashi Triangle, where Aniplex explains that Due to the new wave of Covid-19, the series has been suspendeduntil the situation is resolved. Ayakashi Triangle is the third anime to be canceled in a few hours. Covid-19 has therefore again become a serious threat to the Japanese animation industry, at least in relation to Aniplex.
The fourth episode of Ayakashi Triangle will air on January 30th as scheduled.
