Production team

Originally published in August 2020 with only four chapters, Burn The Witch has been confirmed to have a second season, but no release date has been announced. The manga inspired an anime OVA, produced by Studio Colorido and directed by Tatsurou Kawano, with scripts by Chika Suzumura. The production team was led by Kawano, and the characters were designed by Natsuki Yamada. The soundtrack was composed by Keiji Inai.

Synopsis of Burn The Witch

Historically, 72% of deaths in London are related to dragons, invisible fantasy beings to most people. Although unknown to most, some people have faced these dragons. Only the inhabitants of Reverse London, who live on the hidden “reverse” side of London, can see the dragons. Even then, only a few chosen ones become qualified as witches or wizards to have direct contact with them. The protagonists of the story are the witch duo, Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are agents of protection for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for the conservation and management of dragons. Their mission is to protect and manage London’s dragons on behalf of the population.
