The manga of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations it is now at the gates of a turning point, with the narration that has undergone an abrupt acceleration through a series of surprising revelations. Still, there is still a mysterious bond that still awaits its final resolution, that between Jiraya and Kashin Koji.

All the clues that have been leaked so far, such as Naruto’s particular reaction to K.K.’s movements, seem to confirm the very thin line that separates the two identities. But if indeed the two characters were linked by blood ties, how would this phenomenon be explained? A fan tried to answer the question through an interesting theory.

The most accredited opinion in the community currently believes that Kashin Koji and Jiraya are connected by science. The latter, or his body, is still theoretically still at the bottom of the spring following the clash with Pain that deprived him of his life. However, as far as we know, no one has since recovered his remains and the feat may have been accomplished by Amado himself in an attempt to recover a portion of DNA.

To confirm the hypothesis regarding the artificial origins of K.K. A dialogue between the ninja himself and Jigen comes to the rescue, in chapter 45 of Boruto, in which he confirms that “being created specifically to defeat the leader of the Organization“, stressing that it is the only reason it exists. And if Koji was really a genetic heir to Jiraya, it is likely that he has no memory of the legendary ninja and has now taken on a totally different identity.

In any case, we just have to wait for the next developments to find out definitively who the masked man is. And you, instead, what do you think of this theory? Let us know with a comment below.
