The author of Blue exorcist Kazue Kato announced this through a series of Twitter posts His manga will be on hold for at least two months for health reasons. The mangaka said these were not serious problems, just fatigue, and so they expected to be able to continue serialization from April.
“”Sorry for the sudden announcement“wrote the author,”but I’ll be on vacation for at least two months! The reason is that I’ve been backward tired for twelve years and feel at the limit. I am sorry for all readers looking forward to the next chapter, but I do not want to endanger my health. I’m in better shape again than before!“Shueisha formalized the announcement in the latest edition of Jump Square.
Blue Exorcist has 128 published chapters, of which 126 were collected in the first 26 official volumes. In Italy, distribution is in the hands of Panini Comics, who published the first 25. Given the timing of the translation, it is possible that the release of volume 27 in Italy could be postponed to 2021, while the release of 26 is expected for the spring season.
