In the magazine’s latest storyline Batman, the Dark Knight found himself in an alternate dimension where Gotham was transformed into an even more dangerous city without his intervention. To make matters worse, there are alternate versions of some of the most important characters in the DC Universe.

In the history The Batman of Gotham, Bruce faced variants of Selina Kyle, Catwoman, and had to contend with the horrific experiments of the Joker, known as Darwin Halliday in that alternate timeline. In Batman #134Written by Chip Zdarsky and drawn by Mike Hawthorne, the Dark Knight met two of his old Justice League comrades, also victims of the experiments conducted by Halliday.

Upon entering Arkham Caverns, Batman actually encountered the Alternate version of Flash, a man unable to control the power of speed and consequently his powers. An extremely dangerous threat that could turn the city of Gotham upside down in a millisecond forever. Shortly thereafter, Bruce Clark sees Kent againfree, unbridled, without that calmness and responsibility that have always characterized Superman in his universe.

Two of the most powerful characters in the entire DC Universe have become two potential threats not only worldwide, but in Superman’s case also intergalactic.
