As fan base eagerly awaits the release of Spy x Family Season 2 and the first anime film in the saga, subtitled CODE: White, the Spy comedy directed by Tatsuya Endo With the Forger family as protagonists, it gains another important recognition.
Both Spy x Family animated projects will be released before the end of 2023, one in October and the other in December. While waiting for her, the manga series wins a coveted award. Spy x Family won Best Cartoon at the Japan Cartoonists Association Awards 2023, one of the most famous, prestigious and oldest competitions in the industry, organized by the Japan Illustrators Association. Once again Anya, Loid and Yor have defeated the competition.
At the 52nd edition of this award, they were also awarded Made in Abyss by Akihito Tsukushi and Choujin Locke by Yuki Hijiri. The first was the winner of the “Manga Kingdom Tottori Award”, the second the “Minister of Education, Science and Technology Award”.
This recognition received by Spy x Family is just the latest accolade bestowed on Tatsuya Endo's spy comedy, which has become one with the debut of the adaptation by WIT Studio and CloverWorks international hit.
