Each year Crunchyroll, the American website that broadcasts numerous anime by streaming, organizes an event where users can vote for their favorite series, divided into different categories that are ultimately awarded. Let's find out the winners of the 2021 edition together.
This year the fifth edition of the Anime Awards took place, the voting of which was published on the Crunchyroll website from January 15th Jujutsu Kaisen Management of the nominations with 10 nominations. There were numerous categories for users to vote for their favorite series and eventually the results were announced. The winners for each division are listed below.

- Best fight scene - Deku vs Overhaul from My Hero Academia 4
- Best character design - Mayuka Ito for her work on the toilet-bound Hanako-kun
- Best protagonist - Catarina Claes, from the anime My next life as a villain: All roads lead to downfall!
- Best antagonist - Ryomen Sukuna from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime
- Best male character - Shoyo Hinata from Haikyuu !! to the top
- Best female figure - Kaguya Shinomiya from Kaguya-sama: Love is war?
- Best couple - Nasa Yuzaki and Tsukasa Yuzaki from Tonikaku Kawaii
- Best Japanese voice actor - Yusuke Kobayashi for his interpretation of Natsuki Subaru in Re: ZERO - Starting Life in Another World - 2
- Best English voice actor - Zeno Robinson for his portrayal of Hawks in My Hero Academia 4
- Best opening - - Wild side by ALI for the anime BEASTARS
- Best ending - - LOST IN PARADISE by ALI feat. AKLO, for the anime Jujutsu Kaisen
- Best soundtrack - Kevin Penkin for the music on Tower of God
