- Ayumu Murase as Luke. He voiced Hinata in Haikyu!! and Iruma in Mairimashita! Iruma-kun. Earnest boys are his specialty.
The Premise
It adapts Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid. Not Disney. The real one. The one where she dies.
A mermaid makes a forbidden wish for human love. She dies. Two centuries later she wakes at Lake Biwa in modern Japan. She must learn human customs.
What was the wish? What are the rules now? Why this lake?
Original Risk
Original anime have no manga safety net. No one knows the ending. You cannot spoil it. That is the value.
Kinema Citrus makes heavy things. They have earned trust.
Do you prefer original anime or adaptations? The risk or the certainty?
