Some minutes ago, Netflix confirmed – by publishing a message from the author Paru Itagaki – that the highly anticipated second season of Beastars will return in 2021 and be available again on the streaming site. Below you can see the official clip posted on Twitter’s profile NXOnNetflix.
It is currently unknown whether the streaming platform publishes the episodes weekly (given the success of season one) or all at once. In the second case Netflix should clearly be waiting for the stakes to be distributed Fuji TV, Japanese broadcaster holding the rights. In all cases, season two will again be available in multiple languages, including Italian.
Last May the director of the series Shinichi Matsumi talked about the second season of Beastars without releasing updates about the production. However, given the waiting times, it is possible that the new episodes will appear as early as the first quarter of 2021. We remind you that most newspapers have so far taken redistribution to Netflix for granted. The official announcement came just a few moments ago.
And what do you think about it? Happy? Let us know by leaving a comment in the box below! If you’d like to learn more about the anime instead, we encourage you to take a look at our review of season one of Beastars.
